Do you build new homes?
No. Gamache Construction builds additions and renovations, not new houses.
Do you handle the permits and inspections?
Yes. We handle the permits and inspections with the local building department.
Are estimates free?
Yes. The visit and the written estimate are free, so you can review the scope and the price before you decide.
Is the work covered by a warranty?
Yes. Our labor carries a warranty, and the manufacturer warranties on the products we install apply as well.
What does a project cost?
The written estimate after the first visit carries the number. Four things move it: the size of the space, structural work such as a foundation or a load-bearing wall, the finish level you choose, and the plumbing and electrical scope.
When can you start?
It depends on the size of the job and how the schedule looks when you call. A detailed schedule is prepared before construction starts.
Do you take on whole-home renovations?
Yes. We manage the full renovation, from demolition and framing through the electrical, plumbing and finishes, and coordinate every trade so the work stays consistent from room to room.
Can you work with my insurance company on a structural repair?
Yes. For structural repairs, such as damage to a garage or porch, we provide detailed estimates and photos and coordinate with your insurance adjuster. Storm damage to a roof goes to Roofing by Gamache.
Do you work on light commercial projects?
Yes. Most of our work is residential, and we also take on light commercial work in MetroWest and Worcester County, such as office renovations and small retail spaces.
How far do you travel for a project?
Our Northborough team works across MetroWest and Worcester County. Towns shown on this site are examples, not a complete boundary for project inquiries. Share your location and the work you are considering so we can confirm coverage for your project.
