Financing for home additions and renovations
Financing lets a larger addition or renovation go ahead without waiting until the full cost is saved. Gamache Construction offers financing for remodeling and addition projects, and we talk it through with you once you have a written estimate in hand.

When financing a remodel makes sense
Financing is most often used on bigger projects, where paying the full cost up front would mean waiting years or scaling the plan back. That usually means:
- Home additions, such as a second story, an in-law suite or a primary suite
- Whole-home renovations that touch several rooms at once
- Larger kitchen or basement remodels

Rates, terms and approval depend on the lender and on your application, so we do not quote them here. We go over how to apply when we talk through financing with you.

With a real number in front of you, we go over the financing option and how to apply.
The work is scheduled
Once the plan and the payment approach are settled, we file the permits and line up the crews.
What to have ready
- Your written estimate from Gamache Construction, so you know the project total
- How much you plan to pay from savings and how much you want to finance
- A monthly payment you would be comfortable with
- Any parts of the scope you would consider changing to fit the budget, so we can price the options
Why the estimate matters here
A detailed estimate gives you a fixed scope to finance against, which keeps the conversation about real numbers. Steve M. put it simply in his Google review: “Very clear estimate provided.”
The work itself is the same either way. Chris Gamache runs the crews, we handle the permits and inspections, and our labor carries a warranty.
Start with a written estimate
